Calendars
Newsletter Ease is different from other newsletter tools in that
it provides a way to integrate calendar content with your newsletter.
In addition, Newsletter Ease allows you publish a calendar to
your Web site, if you have one. There is no limit to the number
of calendars that you can create with Newsletter Ease. Calendars
can show future or historic events - you choose the range of your
calendar. To begin, click on the calendar already created for
you, labeled My Calendar.

Click
in the upper-right corner.

Here, you can name the Web site location to which your calendar
will publish. You name the Template to be used, the Web File Name
of the main calendar page when published, and the Date Format
that you would like to use. You can also choose the calendar range.

All Calendars show the current month. If your purpose is to publish
a calendar of events, you would want a future range and the appropriate
span of time. If you intend to publish a listing of future events
and a description of past events, such as minutes from meetings
others may have missed, select a current range and the appropriate
span of time. If you want to keep a diary or show links to past
events, such as sermons or a baby's first year, then choose a
past range and the appropriate span of time. Once you've selected
the Calendar Settings that you need, click .
To create a New Activity, you'll open a modified Article Entry
window.

Enter the details of the event, and then select the date(s) on
the calendar for the activity. The details area can be used for
pictures, tables, hyperlinks - everything an article allows. When
you're done, click Save and Close .

You'll see the days with events in bold on the calendar. You can
have multiple events on any given day. Newsletter Ease will stretch
the calendar to accommodate as many events as you need. When you
Preview your calendar,

browse the calendar just like browsing it online.

Clicking into a month will show the events for the month. When
you're ready to publish, go to the publish tab. All of the Calendar
pages will be uploaded to your Web site.
